Hey All,

Just curious for all of you full detail oriented people, is there a need to apply a wax if you use a decent sealant?


I am going to try to follow and stick with a better cleaning regimen in regards to the exterior and wanted a little advice.
The steps I am planning on following, after reading up on some professional detailer forums and posts is as follows for the first go around:

Wash - Actual Car Wash Soap (2 bucket method)
Clean - Clay bar entire surface
Polish - Meguirs M205 Ultra Finishing polish
Protect - Blackfire Wet Diamond paint sealant


I have heard some hearsay regarding using wax after applying a sealant.
Some people say no and some people say yes after letting sealant cure 12-24 hours.

Any benefit to using wax as last step?
Will applying wax screw with the way the sealant works?
