Farewell, Fit Freaks!
Farewell, Fit Freaks!
Well, after owning the Fit for 584 days, I traded for a vehicle that has been a dream of mine to own since I was 16...a 3 series, a E90 328i to be exact. I traded with just over 50,000 miles on the clock (literally rolled 50k just before pulling into the dealership).
Just wanted to stop by and say "thanks" to all the members that helped over the past year and a half as well as plug the fact that my OEM center console and WeatherTech Floorliners are for sale (see 2nd Gen FS section).
Take care! You may still see me lurking around the board here, or elsewhere (mhadden is my handle on all the forums I frequent).

I can't imagine why?

I ended up getting 10,500. Not to bad for having 50k miles on it. I'm sure they'll turn around and try to sell it for 13-14.

Enjoy, I've owned a 2002, an E30 325, E36 325 and an E36 M3. I sometimes miss the M3 but I did get really sick of working on the damn things. Hopefully the E90 treats you and your wallet well.

Yes, enjoy!
I've been a BMW fan since the 2002.
(David E. Davis' road test of the 1968 2002 --> 1968 BMW 2002 – Review – Car and Driver).
I currently drive an E91 328i wagon /6-speed /ZSP (the sports package in Bimmerese). No sedan/wagon drives like a BMW. And BMW service is probably the best I've had in any car.
The downside is that my car has required an awful lot of it. Consumer Reports says the 328i is the most reliable car in it's market segment, so hopefully it's just that mine has a lot of parts that were manufactured during Oktoberfest.

I use to have a 318ic E30 1992 love the car only problem that was the year they changed the sedan so even though it had the same engine they used different parts. I found this out when I did a head gasket job on it to replace the profile gasket at 60k miles. Was a problem back then with the E30 1.8l. Still I love that car.
Good luck.
Good luck.
