Turbo? Shop? Parts?! HELP! SWAP?

Hey guys havent been in this forum for a while.

been using my fit as a daily to commute to work while i was
working on my Miata but decided to get rid of my miata and
have an itch to reMOD my fit but do it better this time around.

any SHOPS around torrance to OC that installs and do turbos? maybe even K-series swap?
i want atleast 160+HP on my fit.

also looking for the lowest coilovers on the market ( i had skunk2's but
the rears did not go as low as i would like and i did not know how to
mod the rears to go lower( maybe someone can help?)

i have about 5-7 grand to spend on my fit.

basically looking for a great turbo set up and coilovers. i can worry about
rims another time.

Thanks for reading and would appreciate anybody that can help me out

HKS turbo kit.
I think the BC c/o goes lower then the Skunks.
Maybe this place for a custom turbo kit:
es technical roadsports
Never use them but they are close.
I replied to your pm. If you've time we can meet to catch up and talk cars.

What about RaceLine USA?

Raceline USA

Denno exactly how close you are to them in Temple City, maybe an hour, but I am sure Matt can hook you up!!! He used to roll in a Fit

I think you could easily do a turbo and supporting mods for that price range. K swap would be a stretch... There was an HKS Turbo Kit some where down there on CL for sale cheap at 1K. I prob still have the guy's number if you want to PM me....

You can piece the turbo kit for UNDER $1,000 if you are smart enough to research some more (using new parts also)

Then you would simply need fuel injectors and a tuning solution.

No need to spend so much money for such a low power number

I whole heatedly agree that it can be done for CHEAP... But in CA, The HKS Kit is the only one with a CARB EO# that is legal...

That's not to say you cant get some 310cc injectors, a Flashpro and some other "supporting additions" to make bigger numbers

The Greddy Kit which is similar made 170+ on Jason's car with the Hondata tuning and better injectors... It was in DSPORT a few months back...

Maybe you could find a turbo that looks similar but is much more efficient

Then you could get the HKS decal or paperwork and get away with it.

HKS/Greddy charges alot for just 170hp

109 to 170 is like a 60%+ improvement.... which is HUGE. You can't base the peak hp number against the $$$$.

My plan would be to do exactly what you described tgough if I ever go boost...

I agree entirely its a great improvement and that the car gets new life!

But for under 250hp, its not worth over a grand to me.

My crx was BOUGHT stock and built to over 300whp with less then 3 grand overall

That is not at all unsurprising for a car that is likely over 20 years old with a vastly larger and far more robust after market.

These cars are just not an EF/EG/EK with a D/B series where you can get a truck load of new/used performance parts off of CL or HT classifieds.

Give the Fit chassis another 15 years. High mileage or older GD's have only just started dropping below the $9-10K level. Soon enough more folks might start making them into projects.

And some are FAR more resourceful than others. Give DSM an extra grand and I'd love to see what he gets done...
