Can't find serpentine belt for '07 NO AC in Canada
Can't find serpentine belt for '07 NO AC in Canada
OK I haven't tried the stealer - they are closed. But given they wanted 950 for an alternator they probably want 100 bucks for a belt. I picked up a Gates/ Carquest about a month ago and at 45" seems about 10" too long. No prob, thought I , they just gave me one for AC by mistake. HOWEVER, Carquest, gates, Canadian tire, and all the US online sources I've checked only list that one belt.
SO, are ALL US Fits equipped with AC?
The post-teen parts guys can measure my old one whenever I feel like taking it off again (in spring) but it's weird no-one seems to have a listing.
I know it's not a frankenfit - both setups are shown in the manual.
I saw an earlier thread on this very topic but without resolution.
BTW I changed out the POS Mitsubishi alternator (118,000km or 73,000 mi) in the driveway the other night @ 15F - thought it would come out through the bottom - no joy. Plus one to the guy with the video removing the EGR and studs - worked great and way less hassle than removing the intake.

When i removed the AC on my delSol the local Autozone had belts available in different lengths. You might be able to ask a local store for a shorter belt with the same ribbing pattern. They let me try them on until I found the right length. I didn't start the car with the belts, but you should be able to tell when it is right.
No doubt, but after several years of the BACK running on the water pump pulley, no #'s remain. The belt was OK (no cracks) so it can wait for warmer weather. Someone must have scoped out an aftermarket # for the AC-less fit by now, they aren't THAT rare. If no-one responds by May, I'll take it off, measure, and post my findings ;-)
