Hello. The AC on my 2009 Fit stopped working yrs ago. Now the compressor is making a loud grinding noise. Instead of replacing the compre$$or, I'd like to bypass it with a shorter non-AC belt, as has been suggested on this forum, with reference to a "Canadian DX" part. Can anyone point me in the direction of a source for that part, or specifications (length) of the shorter belt? (or comments on general advisability of this plan) Thanks!

torontohondaparts lists the part as mitsuboshi 31110-rb0-g01.

I don't see any available stateside, but they may ship to the US. You could try calling a US honda parts seller and see if they can special order it (Canadians must venture down here sometime).

The tensioner appears to be the same part comparing it with a US FIT with A/C so you should be ok on everything else.
