What error are you getting?

Your photo is either too large or it's the wrong format is my guess

Welp, it says im not allowed to post attachments. And when i try to attatch a picture it tells me to enter in the website of my picture. Any who, I'm glad you replied to my post i love your car i have a '13 base taffy white manual. I just got some 15" black rpf1s and I'm using my old civics 195/60/15 tires. I bought those tires a few months back for my civic before it was totaled so i figure i wear them out before i go more sporty with ties. But i really want to drop about an inch or so. Im trying to put up a picture of my car to get some feedback ect. But i can't seem to get one on here lol. I guess i need to post more posts or something.

I'm having the same problem. It allowed me to post an Avatar; but when I wanted to put a larger picture in my post, I was told that I'm not authorized to add attachments.

Thanks, that is good info. Not sure I understand the rationale, though. Seems like most new guys would be wanting to post a picture as soon as they got the car and joined the forum.

On the other hand, I don't own any stock in the forum, so I guess my vote doesn't count for much.

Don't feel too bad. I have over 400 posts and still can't post pictures. I'm pretty sure this site doesn't host pictures......probably a storage issue. You have to put the pictures on a photo hosting site, something like photo bucket, and use the link here.

I've been using Internet Explorer, but tried Firefox also and, unless I'm just missing it, I don't see any option to attach images. Am I missing something? I would love to be able to. It's a hassle, at least to me, to put the images on another site and then link them.

Take a look at this post https://www.fitfreak.net/forums/fit-...res-forum.html. I feel like you are just not going about it the right way to post pics

That makes sense, but I thought Waiz was saying that there was a way to actually upload and attach pics to Fit Freak without using an external link.

He may have miss understood what you where asking? not really sure. As far as I have seen, I never been to a forum that had an option to host your pics on it. It has always been an external website then you post pic to the forum. Photobucket, flickr, imgur are all good places to host your images. I would recommend against using facebook to host because it gives people access to info you might want to keep personal.

I want to post a picture but i cant post attatchments whats the deal?-ty3oxkfh.jpg

testing and stuff
EDIT: ok did some looking and in advanced there is an option to add an attachment, never actually knew it was there. I tried a few different pics of my car and couldn't get it to work, but this photo did work. I would recommend if you are wanting to upload a photo us the method I linked to https://www.fitfreak.net/forums/fit-...res-forum.html. it is much easier and much more reliable then adding an attachment for what its worth I am using firefox

Yep, the secret is to use an external image hosting site. I used Photobucket for these.

Though a better option would be to upload directly to FitFreak to avoid missing links in the future from people deleting or modifying the pictures in their third-party account.

There are rules for attaching pics, some files don't follow those rules and the system will reject their upload

For instance, it has to have the right extension and it can't be too large
