Ahem. My first 'mod' (haha) has been ordered. I picked up my 2015 EX CVT in White Orchid Pearl and was set on naming it Storm Trooper even before I bought it.

So today I ordered this:

Should be here within the next 4 weeks, will definitely post pics!

Does anyone else have custom plates for their Fits yet? Some people think it's lame but I love it!

I have a vanity plate, but it was actually off my previous car ('13 Beetle Convertible TDi). Eeyore of course is the donkey from Winnie the Pooh. The name (for my car) goes back to my '64 VW Beetle (with original 40hp engine), which was pretty leisurely in its pace down the highway.

i was thinking of "GRNGOFIT" for a plate, because of it's color (white) and as an homage to where it is built...

If I hadn't rebadged my car as Jazz, this would have been a fun plate:

Having 8 digits gives us lots of choice. Mine has been Black3Sr for many years. I am Earnhardt fan. My plates are getting worn so may go with a genetic and just hang these in garage.

Oh I am off to Mississauga this morning to run some slot cars.

Eeyore! I love Winnie the Pooh, this is awesome and matches your car perfectly. I am loving those tails, can't wait to do it on mine!

Some of these plates can be fun, but every once in a while I see one that that brings up the question "What were they thinking?"

6PAC2GO, for example. That guy must like doing sobriety tests!

Myself, I think I'll just remain in the lovely anonymity of a standard plate. These days, it doesn't pay to be memorable.

Perhaps that vanity plate is referring to his carburetor set up. In any event, still not a wise choice.

I have seen two vanity plates here in Oklahoma City on Fits. OKC plates have 7 character limitation:

1. GOODFIT

2. PFFFFIT

I for one now need to see a storm trooper cosplay with white orchard pearl armor.

I'll call him THX-116SPARKLE!

I'm keeping the state-issued random plate on mine, but I laughed when I saw this local Fit's plate:

I've never had a "vanity" plate on any of my vehicles. Here in the "vampire state", it's $60 to get the plate and an additional fee of $31.25/year for one. That's a lot of money to spend just so the police can remember your car more easily.

I didn't buy a yellow Fit, but I showed my brother a picture of one, and he said it looked like a Marshmallow Peep. So I'm waiting to see a yellow Fit with a plate that says "PEEP".

Are there any states where you can go more than 7 characters? I see lots of suggestions for 8-10 character plates, but I don't think that they can be had.

NY will allow 8 characters on a car, 6 on a motorcycle.
