I think the FIT A/C works like other Hondas

So i've owned all my cars with navi when offered. All Hondas/Acuras with navi has a sensor that allows the GPS to guesstimate where the Sun is and bumps the fan speed and temp cooler on the side where the positioned of the sun is. It's definitely doing this in the fit if you drive at city speeds which is odd because we have manual temp control. Try it when its very hot and opine back. you can feel the temp change. Id like to know how a manual A/C has this feature. My 08 Accord had it 08 TL TECH did. Cheers guys.

I've never heard of this, but I have felt the A/C get warm then cold on hot days. I had it on settings 3 or 4. I read here that it helps to keep the A/C at 2. It won't blow the air out as fast, but it blows it out cooler.

I'm pretty sure the Fit does not have separate air handling for the two sides, so it cannot possibly rebalance them automatically. I do know for certain that the GE8 Fit is not equipped to do this. There is a single set of ductwork for both the driver and passenger sides, and any balancing of one vs. the other must be done manually by opening or closing the vent registers. (My home furnace works the same way.)

Thank you. I figured because there was no solar sensor at the forward
dash.
