2007 Honda Fit Sport / Squeak in front driver side while turning left

Hey all,

Just paid 3900 (Canadian) for a used 2007 Honda fit Sport with 225,000 KMs,
Noticed recently there's a squeaky sound coming from my front driver side in what I can only assume to be my disc brake, while turning left, and a little bit when I'm applying light pressure to my brake.

Just wondering, if I did decide to fix this issue, what is the sound most likely coming from? I checked the brake pads and they look pretty good, don't really know enough to go any further, any suggestions or explanations would be appreciated!

Thanks

Most likely you need to lubricate the slider pins on the front calipers. (If, indeed, its brake squeal)

You could also apply Molykote or Disc Brake Quiet to the BACK of the pads.

SEARCH if you are not familiar with the actions, above.

++++++++++++

How old are the tires on you new car? If over 6 years old, the rubber might just be hard and you will be able to hear a squeal when turning. There should be a date code on the sidewall. TireRack.com shows how to locate the code.
