Must have upgrades for my 07 fit. (High mileage)

Hey there, I've had my fit for about a year now (it now has 164k might be something to keep in mind.)

And I dunno I just wanted to change it up somehow, everything is stock...and aside from the usual maintenance stuff and some performance spark plugs I bought.

Just wanted everyone's opinion on here since everyone seems awesome here

U can do everything every other person is minus turbo/super charger. Wanna do intake, header, exhaust, rims, hids, etc? What does mileage have to do with those things? Have fun with it. with 164k, you must wanna keep it.

Cosmetic, comfort, or performance upgrades?

If you're going for cosmetic, you can always Plasti-Dip whatever parts or body panels you want changed. But I'll bet you know that the stuff doesn't last forever and needs several coats to make it easier to pull it off should you want to change or if it starts to come off on its own.

If you're going for comfort upgrades, Clazzio seat covers add a nice touch. It'll take some time and patience to get them installed correctly, but it's certainly not out of the reach of anyone here. Desmond above is the new point guy for Clazzio if memory serves.

Performance: 5MT or slushbox? If 5MT, cold air intake is where I'd start. Although some folks say good things about the K&N air filter, most people I know say you pay a price with them, so be forewarned.

If you (or the previous owner) hasn't done a valve lash adjust yet, that will help. I waited until after 100K with my '08 5MT to do one, and I wish I had it done sooner. Felt like I gained an extra gear afterwards. Also check your coilpacks if they haven't been replaced yet, because at 164K, you'll likely need to change those soon.

The good news is you can do anything you want, and you've got plenty of threads and pix here with people who have done their own. I believe you have some reading to do.
