I have an issue after changing the stock cd player to a double din and the wiring seems to be weak I should of just bought an adaptor but anyway, I can't seem to get a decent connection with a solder type antenna plug and when I do its fuzzy, there's 1 pair of wires which is the reception then there's a wire by itself for the booster but connecting it to 12v positive does nothing to 'better' the reception?
The wire seems to be to thin for my plug so my only option is to replace the wiring for thicker wiring how hard would it be to pull new wiring? and has anyone connected the booster correctly or just by pass it?

 

Never mind I was able to run new radio wiring only took about 10 mins also bypassing the booster did the trick.
