Hey guys and gals, been going through a lot of the threads and could use some help.
2008 Honda Fit, 1.5liter, std shift, 144k miles.

My check engine light came one a few months ago with the misfire codes 0301 throug 0304

I do all my own repairs.

I replaced the plugs and coil packs still came back even after a reset.

Replaced upstream O2 sensor, still coded.

Replaced downstream O2 sensor, ran worse,

Replaced Cranckshaft sensor.

So right this minute I have no engine ligh. However it stalls until it is warmed up. I finished installing the downstream O2 and cranck sensor this morning. I erased the codes after the O2 but not after cranck sensor (no engine light YET)

So if I let it run for 15 to 20 min. It will still want to stall whenever I let off the gas once I have driven a few miles it runs fine. Because ots a stick I can keep it running 99% of the time if I am quick enough with my feet. I can usually keep my foot on the gas and brake at the same time. Big feet anyways any suggestions on my best next step to stop the stalling? Should I go towards fuel issues? Air? Or valve timing? Should I wait till it codes again?

Valve adjustment needs to be done. I don't think that you needed to buy the O2 sensors or even the crankshaft sensor. The two issues with the fit is the coils going bad after some time and valve adjustment needing to get done.

Your issue is the same that many of us had.

 

Thanks, engine light came back on last night on my way home from work, read code again now its just the 0304 cyl. 4 misfire.

The upstream O2 sensor was bad as it was white and after I replaced it I had a significant increase in power. The downstream may have been ok. And probably the crank sensor as well. I have never done valve adjustments on Honda's last rime I did it was an old Chevy V8 me and a buddy were building. That was back in the late 1980's.

 

Try out getting the valve adjustment done though first because it'll fix things hopefully for you.
