Led Third Brake Light Repair Fit 2008 1 Generation
Led Third Brake Light Repair Fit 2008 1 Generation
My Fit LED third brake light stopped working. There are three sets of LED panels with 4 LED's each; the left, centre, and right panel. The LED's are wired in parallel within each panel. The three panels are wired in series with opposing LED (+)/(-) polarity and powered by AC by means of a small circuit board. The input voltage is 12V but I am not sure what the voltage is at the LED end. I tested the LED's and the third set of LED's to the right burnt out. I made a temporary fix by shorting out the LED's in the right hand panel so now the left and centre panel lights up. I would like to replace the faulty LED's so that all the LED's light up properly. Any idea where I can get replacement LED's that will work? Your advice would be appreciated.
Kind regards
Chris
