In looking for winter tires I am considering 185-70r14 instead of the normal 175-65r15. But I had tried putting someone else's 14 inch winter tire on my car before and the rim was REALLY tight with the brakes.

I see a lot people mentioning 14's around here, so is there a certain rim that is known to fit on a 2013 Fit base?

 

I am thinking about getting the 14" steel rims from tirerack.com:

Just am not sure if they will fit my Fit...

Yeah, if you're buying from Tire rack, they consider rubbing on both the brakes and the wheel housing. If they'll sell it to you (and you haven't done anything crazy like a big brake kit or something) then it will fit. Same thing with discount tire direct.
