so I just bought a new windshield trim/molding from a honda site. however when i practice putting on the trim i see that theres a extra flap to the trim that doesn't hook on to anything and I cannot remember if the trim sat flush to the car.

so can someone snap a quick pic to the trim so i can see how it is? mine was all crumby so it fell apart as I removed it so I cant use it as an example.

that extra flap is what is confusing me. Does your honda have that extra?..if you cant tell see how its "cut in half"? thats the seperation

 

Curious, did you ever get this fixed?
