Tune after aftermarket intake
Tune after aftermarket intake
Guys I was thinking of installing a short ram on my fit. Anyone know if I’ll run into check engine or idle problems if it isn’t tuned? Wanted to pull the trigger on a tune after more parts are installed
So, go for it.
You'd better hurry and do the tune, if you really want to change the way the car handles/performs.
If you had actually bothered to do a search on the forum (not just the sub-forum), you'd know the Fit wouldn't bat an eye to a short ram. In fact, after your short lived happiness to the "improved performance," it'll be as if you hadn't done the short ram at all, as the ECU adjust everything back to specific parameters (moderate fuel efficiency).
So, go for it.
You'd better hurry and do the tune, if you really want to change the way the car handles/performs.
