I thought it would be a cool idea if we could all meet up and do a mountain run up in the North Ga mountains one day. A friend of mine went to one with Atlanta Mazda Owners Club and it looks like a lot of fun. Any suggestions, comments, yeses?

 

I was planning on making a run up to Robbinsville, NC on October 13th to rat-race for a few hours with some other clubs, including FitFreaks. It's about a 3 hour drive up from where I live, and I would be leaving no later than 8-830am. Once there, make some runs, breaks, eat, whatever until about 430, then head back home. All-in-all, about 9 hours of driving, with 4hrs of it being intense and 2hrs of it being insane/stressful/potentially nerve wracking and maybe even scary if you're stupid and don't know the limits of your car. It's a long day to say the least.

Last year I stayed over for two nights, but I don't feel it was worth it since I only got a full day of driving in on a Saturday anyway and all the other guys had to leave early Sunday morning for much longer drives to other states.

I've been slowly prepping my car to get ready. All I have left to do is put in some new plugs, an oil change and one more detail job. Maybe rotate the tires. Trans has been prepped, new brakes all the way around in the last three weeks, so I'm close to being good to go.

 

If you want to meet up for drive, I'm usually up for that. My wife has a Fit and we like driving the twisties. Count us in!

Haha! I love it! The Fits look great man, I love that you two match. Yeah I need to find a free weekend to do this. I'd totally be up for the 13th, which is my birthday, but I just found out I have some metal object in my passenger rear tire that I need to get out.

So that needs to get done. Merp. Some day soon I hope!
