AWESOME!
With Bernard just about confirmed, Alex, if you can pull it off with your friends we will have over 20 Fit's!!!! That would double Mt.Diablo meet count!
Spring meets are looking better by the minute!

LilCat, where are you guys meeting? I'm in San Carlos, and would like to meet up with people, otherwise I will just end up going to San Jose for the meetup.

I know we're going to say this again before we all head out, but safety is the operative word for the day. This is only our second outing, and with so many people, we want to make sure that it is as safe as can be. Also, with this many cars, you can bet that we might just happen to attract the attention of the local police even though we aren't in sports cars. Caravans always get extra attention, so we've all gotta put our angel caps on.

(End preaching)

Man I hope it doesn't rain.

FMRS 2-way radios

BTW, anybody have 2-way radios? I have a couple I use when skiing. If somebody else has them, bring them! It is more practical than cell phone for comunication while riding in formation. Instant connection with everybody who has it with range of up to 2 miles!
Hey Ciburri, I finally found my FMRS radios...so, what channel do we want to use? These radios are perfect for such events..good thinking!

BTW, anybody in the Central Valley want to caravan from the Modesto area?

CuteBoi, Sorry about that, I thought you guys were referring to the FMRS radios. Mine only has 14 channels (with 38 sub-channels). So you guys are using 22 channel GMRS radios? How about choosing something in the lower channels so that I can join in too?

Weather Is Changing In Our Favor!

Ladies and Gentlemen,
weather is changing in our favor! Rain is off the prognosis as per weather channel! Temp's will go at least up to 65*F (from 58*F) with partially cloudy skies! Yeah!

Macbuddy and everybody with the radios, let's start with 2/4 with a back up of 4/8. I am trying to stay away from 2/11, 4/11, 5/11, 7/11, 9/11. These are most commonly picked due to their various associations.

Macbuddy, I know it is a bit more of a drive for you, but if you are willing, meet us in Dublin Honda by 8:30am. If you decide to do it PM me and I will hit you back with my cell number. This way if you are running a bit late we can wait.

CuTeBoi, congratulation's on the job! +1 on the PS3! GrandTurismo in HD is about to come out by Christmas (unless it gets postponed yet again!)!

Bernard, I am so glad you will make it! No sweat about meeting in Dublin. See you at OSH! If you are ruining a bit late to OSH, give me a ring. We can always wait a few minutes. Running in formation is too regrettable to miss!

Alex, I hope you manage to talk all your friends with new Fit's to come!

Well, back to the garage! I still have quite a bit more work to do. Lot's of cosmetic work left to be done!
