Roof Rack Question

So I have a roof rack sitting in my garage and I have yet to put it on, not because I'm lazy, moreso that I'm afraid it will be stolen (car's parked in a public lot during the work day). We have a lot of stories in SoCal of people prying off roof racks from cars and stealing them. Is that an issue in NorCal?

it can be an issue anywhere, in all honesty. I'll give you a hundy for it j/k

No sense in worrying, because it'll happen if it's going to.

I have had mine mounted for over a year. my daughter's car was stolen right next to my fit and I still have my rack, thankfully. I use the hell out of it, its so useful. but if someone wants it, they'll get it unfortunately. Plus the "trend" of having them for aesthetic purposes seems to have died down a bit.
