First, a sugestion. Could we consider moving this meet to the second?
I work grave yard (night) and am off sunday and monday, this would give me a chance to sleep before my 2 and a 1/2 hour drive.

And what happened too all the "middle meet" talk. That idea was working fine. no matter how much we love to drive our fits, gas costs alot of $$$.$$

well.. the middle meet, was just getting to much. i figured well, instead of just planning out a spot that I have never been to yet alone others, wouldnt be so wise.
and since there was already an LA meet(autobacs) then maybe san diego should host one .

even for you palm spring people. thats only an 1 hour 1/2 hour drive. around 100 miles. i do the drive to thousand palms every 3 weeks or so.

this really does happen a lot on other forums aswell. granite it may be a drive....but thats just what we do. we love DRIVING our cars....so whenever there is a far meet,people start complaining about driving/ or gas. i understand. as for the date. i cant change it again, since most people i dont know have already requested off.

moderator....what do you think? keep the date. move it to sunday or keep it the same. ill be at work for a couple hours. ill check back

 

imho. just keep it the same man. the majority of the people are expecting the 1st already. and the whole middle point thing was just getting too much of a hassle and it was even starting to annoy me. and i mean james is giving you at LEAST a month heads up. we gotta respect james for doing this cause putting a meet together is pretty stressful. you cant satisfy everyone.

Im gonna be in El Centro Cali from 22nd of Feb till the 28th of Mar for a deployment. Im not gonna have my car with but i might be able to rent a car and drive up. Atleast i can meet some people and check out there rides. Does anyone know how far away that is from the meet location? Im not all that familiar with Cali. Thanks in advance
