early...it 8AM LoL
To much studying!
i've been up since 5:20am
i just went to this spot over the weekend, ROYAL/T Café
ROYAL/T CAFE, STORE AND ARTSPACE

it's a japanese art gallery and tea house. the art is breath taking! they had a few murakami pieces that they were showcasing, i recognized them immediately, i had seen those same pieces at the MOCA exhibition.
i was speaking with one of the owners while i was there and they exhibit new art every month from high-profile artists to japanese natives to local talent. the waitresses wear maid outfits which is a cool novelty but none of them were japanese (when i was there) so it seemed more like a gimmick.
prices are fair, $4.00 for a small pot of tea. i recommend the ROYAL/T Milk Tea. DELICIOUS! they also serve café food: sandwiches, fruit bowls, etc. i didn't get to try any but that just gives me another reason to go back.
best part - there was an NSX, s2k, and '09 STI parked right outside
