i REALLY need to do that shift rod selector bolt thing.. i had 1st gear pop out on me twice in two days

if i have time afterwork today i'm going to slide down there and poke around (no innuendo intended )

LOL cool. No big deal. I just don't play it anymore. I wish your could design levels with a mouse and keyboard. I don't see how some people can do what they can just using the controller. It's very impressive.

early mk1 mr2s are famous for its 5th gear pop outs.. but first gear pop out? like when you're shifting? or it'll pop out when its in gear and ur accelerating?

in gear and getting ready to accelerate. soon as i lift off the clutch *POP*
i just switched back to the spoon knob + circuit hero shift lever extender combo so maybe i'm just not engaging all the way into 1st but i'd still like to take the extra precaution and check on that damn bolt. if it falls out it'll rape the transmission

if you're free on saturday morning, mind helping me out? i can come over or we can use tito chit's garage. from what i've read, it should be fairly easy. i just don't know what i'm looking for and that's the part that scares me
