Keep me on the list...

Mike,
I tried to copy and paste your e-mail address, but Paypal wouldn't recognize it. After several tries, I discovered that there is an extra space in the address you posted "Force_Feed_Performance @hotmail.com" Once I found the problem, I was able to send payment. Can't wait to try it out!
Just curious, how many confirmed units are on your list for so far?

Sorry for the not-too-good pics, but here you go. Again this is 1/16" thick, 1- 1/2" X 1-1/2" aluminum angle. I keep a lot of this kiind of metal shapes around and make a lot of brackets. A 4-1/2" length is just about right to bridge two adjacent HVAC knob pods. If you use a 3" long strip of 2" wide Industrial Strength Velcro, hook side, running lengthwise under each pod, your Controller bracket can be easily mounted under the pods and you can adjust how deep under the pods you want your Controller.

So what's the eta for the controllers. No big rush, just wondering when to expect them.

manxman - that bracket looks great. i may try and fab up something similar.

btw - if this was moved to the group buy interest section, im sure itd get way more hits (unless he needs vendor status to post an "official" gb.

I think that is the case- does not have or want vendor status based on my conversations with him.

Thanks guys. I always have the aluminum angle on hand, and always have Industrial Strength Velcro, so this was cheap for me to do. But for first-timers, the Velcro will cost you about $16.00 per package, and Ace sells the angle in 6' lengths for around $20.00. You might be able to buy shorter cut lengths of the aluminum at an Orchard Supply Hardware store (In CA), or at small, family owned hardware stores around the rest of the country. Home Depot stores don't carry this size of aluminum angle usually, but I have seen similar size pieces of steel angle. Maybe you can get smaller cut lengths of that (I don't know), but if you cover all sides of it with the loop Velcro, or cover just part and paint the rest, rust should not be a problem.

Actually, I made the bracket in the photo to hold my MP3 player, but the player is so small I couldn't read the text on the screen that far away and it took my eyes off the road too much. I'm glad that I didn't throw the bracket away. The player is now Velcro'd to my visor.

Good news, everybody!!
Mike called today to say that he has the big order of controllers-- they arrived today, but too late to be shipped out. They will ship on Monday!

Mike(doctordoom)- Mike-blitz tried to call you to see if you wanted to pick up today, but couldn't reach you.
