Felt it in at work in Thousand Oaks. I was in a middle of a meeting, and on the first half, we were going to ride it out, then on the second half, we got up, and as we walked past the door way, it stopped. Sat back down, whipped out my iPhone, and got the info in 2 minutes or so. I love my iPhone and the internet.

From where I was standing, it felt like a 4.0. All I remember is the ground was shaking for about 7 seconds, then a big wave struck me. Then followed by a series of sideways movement. Nothing fell off the tables so I knew it wasn't the big one...

I couldn't reach anyone by cell phone for an hour and a half because of network problems. Everyone else was having the same problem. But land lines worked fine. So much for cell phone reliability during an emergency...

The quake was like a big jolt when it hit....Some of the pallets in our plant slipped off the racks like someone threw it out

people in the flat areas around the chino hills felt it worse than the epicenter. i live in west covina and it freaked me the hell out. some plates broke, my laptop fell off the desk, and a flower pot in the bedroom got displaced like 2 ft so it was pretty strong

Small jolt, slight rock and then a large jolt followed by rolling motion here. Nothing fell but my fish surfed a bit! My neighbor works in the top floor of one of the towers near the Irvine Spectrum and said it felt like someone dropped a car on their roof and then there was over 30 seconds of scary swaying in every direction. Not too much damage anywhere but you'd think the world had ended if you watched CNN or Fox, or any local news reports. God help us when we have a real quake like Northridge or Sylmar again!
