Earthquake!
I felt it. It wasn't as bad as people said. I was chillen in my fit in my schools parking lot waitin for my sis. I felt the car like wave up and down and i thought "am i on a bridge?" but i was on solid concrete LOLZ. It sorta felt like i had hydro's LMAOO.
lol i was in my house about to leave then i hear some deep rumbling sounds and see the room shaking... At first i thought i was tripping out cause i was tired but then i was like wait... Is this an earthquake? haha i was talking to my friend who lives by me and he said oh shit! so i ran out of my room to see if stuff was breaking cause i thought i heard broken glass.. All i saw was the world shaking and my light fixture swinging... hahaha
i felt it as well. i was knocked out and it woke me up hahahaha. they said the quake was felt from San Diego, to LA, to even Las Vegas. a 5.4 earthquake and it can spread thru alot of cities. it even had like 27 aftershocks too
Felt it in at work in Thousand Oaks. I was in a middle of a meeting, and on the first half, we were going to ride it out, then on the second half, we got up, and as we walked past the door way, it stopped. Sat back down, whipped out my iPhone, and got the info in 2 minutes or so. I love my iPhone and the internet.
From where I was standing, it felt like a 4.0. All I remember is the ground was shaking for about 7 seconds, then a big wave struck me. Then followed by a series of sideways movement. Nothing fell off the tables so I knew it wasn't the big one...
I couldn't reach anyone by cell phone for an hour and a half because of network problems. Everyone else was having the same problem. But land lines worked fine. So much for cell phone reliability during an emergency...

people in the flat areas around the chino hills felt it worse than the epicenter. i live in west covina and it freaked me the hell out. some plates broke, my laptop fell off the desk, and a flower pot in the bedroom got displaced like 2 ft so it was pretty strong
Small jolt, slight rock and then a large jolt followed by rolling motion here. Nothing fell but my fish surfed a bit! My neighbor works in the top floor of one of the towers near the Irvine Spectrum and said it felt like someone dropped a car on their roof and then there was over 30 seconds of scary swaying in every direction. Not too much damage anywhere but you'd think the world had ended if you watched CNN or Fox, or any local news reports. God help us when we have a real quake like Northridge or Sylmar again!
Yeah news blew up!! immediately!!!
Damage report @ work: Some of the ceiling foam tiles fell off, displays and other things on the walls fell off but that's about it.
my mom just told me to make sure my shoes are by my bed just in case of the big one

i was in class in riverside (rcc) when it happened, everyone was bored of the professor lecturing...and all of a sudden everything started to shake lol. the professor ended up letting us out of class early, which was pretty dope.
according to sd news a few people reported feeling it all the way down in tijuana too. my godparents live in chino hills and like everyone else they mostly ended up with alot of broken windows and stuff
