Earthquake!

Preliminary magnitude of 5.8. There was just an aftershock a few minutes ago too. They say the epicenter was Chino Hills. Is everybody ok?

haha! i was about to take my girlfriend's nintendog for a walk when it happened. i guess it's been downgraded to a 5.4 magnitude now, but it was something like 30 seconds long.

edit: nevermind i dunno how long it was, but it felt like forever.

He probably didn't feel it. it was felt as far south as san diego, which is roughly 120 miles south of the epicenter. San Francisco is around 400 miles north of the epicenter.

earthquake

Felt it in Studio City. While I was desperately trying to find a doorway, two coworkers were arguing who called the earthquake first.

SF is 300+ miles away from the epicenter, they couldn't have felt a 5.3 from south-east cali.

i felt in here in irvine. i'm on the 10th floor of an office building on rollers. pretty good shake up, some dishes in the office kitchen cabinets fell out and smashed on the floor.
i had to go home on my lunch break to check on my cats, they were freaked out, but my apartment looked untouched.

a couple people in my office are from out of state and this was their first real earthquake, it was funny. they didn't know what to do.
