Socal Haunted Places / Experiences?

I thought it be cool to start a thread on ghosts experiences/ haunted places, after reading about the run on "Black Star Canyon".

Heres my experiences that I so remember,
Apart from the altadena gravity hill thing, i tried it, didnt seem to work. maybe i was doing it wrong, (and i did it at night also!)

Never saw the phoenix inn ghost in Alhambra. (day or night)

Shadowlands Haunted Places Index - California

heres the link of all the ones that have "seen" before.

Anyone have any experiences of seeing ghosts? experiences? true or false?

never seen any and don't know whether to believe it or not, but it still scares me lol.

edit: i just finished reading several of those "haunted places," many in cities that i've lived in, and i have to say...some of that stuff sounds like complete B.S. like somebody just said "oh i saw this here," and then it got put up on that website.

Only thing I know about is Gravity Hill here in Mira Mesa (San Diego). I've never experienced it, but supposedly you're at a downwards incline and if you put your car in neutral in a certain spot you'll start going backwards up the hill. To add more excitement to the story, people have said that they see fingerprint marks on their windows when this has happened.

And of course there's the Hotel Del Coronado. I'm sure this one's real.

I get creeped out too, lol. Even if it's 100% bs.

Ghosts. Bunch of lazy useless bums that float around scaring people. Do something usefull for a change. If you can manifest your ass from the netherworld, then manifest me some winning lottery ticket numbers! Until then don't waste my time.

The Cooper house in Chino Hills, CA. I've been to the location, and it's eerie just to know what happened there. Sure it's remodeled, but it still stands. Read this:

theres a gravity hill here where i live in sylmar. i think you have to put powder on the trunk or bumper of your car, and then you can see the fingerprints of the ghost.

psst, matt... those finger prints are yours

typically, when you close the trunk of a car (non wagon/hatch) you force it down from the top of the trunk. when you put powder on the trunk the wind blows off the powder that doesn't stick to the oil from your hands

knowing this, i still thought it was scary at 2am after a couple bottle-necks

I was just reading the Shadowlands site. One in Covina caught me as odd... "Zelda's Legend".

reminds me of:

I remember back in high school, there was the urban legend about this house that looks like kind of like a castle. it's sort of near deerfield.
Supposedly, the owner of the property hired some construction workers to renovate, or build an addition or something. The story is that the workers would killed and cut up and built inside of the walls of the home. I don't believe this story or anything...
But it did seem eerie because there was always construction equipment outside of this unfinished house and the work was never progressing. It just stayed the same for the 4 years I was in high school.
