Now i'm not going to preach about the dangers of speeding on windy, two lane (one lane each way) roads, since i've done just that in high school. After seeing two of my friends flip and roll, i think i've just calmed.
Jason, if you'd like to lead and go as fast as you want, feel free to do so. For the most part, if there is no construction and we're not stuck behind a slow moving vehicle, we can easily maintain 45-65mph through most of ortega. I'll probably be the only fit there with no real mods to aid in handling so i'll stay in the back if people want...although i do enjoy body roll.

OK 9am at starbucks by Ortega and I5. Hopefully i'll be on time...but ya'll know how 5south can be sometimes.

Lastly: Since I dont plan on getting anything done on my car, i'll lend a hand to anyone who needs it and learn how to do things with the fit at the same time. I'll also take plenty of photos (and i'll blur out plates when editing). =)

GOOOOOOOOOOD LUCK! you will have almost no space to drive spirited. Either slow cars or motorcycles on it. I have tried so damn hard to get it where there isn't atleast one slow person infront of me.....no dice.

But if you do get a patch where you can, just be careful! also, when you are going through the little "towns" up there, they have speed traps....so abide by the speed limits there or i guarantee you will get popped and not let off.

nope. thats wrong. using a cell phone its illegal for everyone unless it is hands free. they are soon going to make texting illegal while driving too. it would've made sense to ban that first.

Sure man I don't mind a caravan. Only thing is I am not sure what time I will be going yet. All I know is I have to leave by noon. I should know by tonight or early tomorrow morning. I'll shoot you a PM.

Dang, wish I could join up with you guys again, but I'm heading out riding quads at Hungry Valley with some friends.
As for Ortega, if you want to run it, show up Sunday mornings before 8am and watch out for really fast bikes (Don't ask how I know....) and don't ever cross the yellow lines in the corners! But if there's been a crash recently, CHP will be hiding ALL over-especially at Nichols, Riverside county line, near the candy store, at the top of the carousel, entering Caruso Village and at the top of the divide. But it sure can be a fun road when it's empty!

Have fun wrenching!

Umiekun, is it true that the HIDs on halogen housings dont really give good output and also the aim isnt like halogen anymore?

Well i cant say that for all kits because they vary, but how are yours?
