Hey everyone,

So looks like we have enough interest to make a run up Palomar Mtn on Sunday, February 15th.

Lets set the meetup time for 11am.

Fallbrook, CA
How to get there you may ask? Easy...right off the 15 Freeway either coming North or South you would exit on the Hwy 76 exit (Pala Road) (exit #46)

The gas station is on the left side of the freeway if you are coming from SD, or on the right side of the freeway if coming South on the 15.

I figured we can meet up there and cruise out towards Palomar Mtn. There is a restaurant on the top of the mountain or we can cruise to the bottom afterwards and there is a few small eateries at Lake Henshaw. We can leave that up for discussion.

From there we can cruise towards Julian for some AWESOME apple pie and some great twisties. And depending on how far everyone wants to go...we can cruise up Sunrise Highway towards the 8 freeway. All in all it is an incredible drive, and some great views as well as great picture taking opportunities.

Lets get a list together so I can know how many peeps can go.

go up palomar mt front side. back down the back side to lake henshaw? then to dudelys bakery for some BOMB ASS carmel apple dutch pie with cinnamon ice cream. back up to julian then to the 8....

so fun.....the fit handles VERY VERY well in these conditions.
i would go but...... i dont have a day off for the next 4 months heh

I'll take the train down from santa barbara to get my car and do this drive if we do it on either Saturday, Feb. 14th, or Sunday the 15th. I realize that's Valentine's Day, so maybe Sunday is a better date. I wouldn't be able to do it that Monday, tho, because I'd need to be on a train back to SB that day.

you work at pinkberry? when did they open one of those in SD? and where is it? we just got one of those up here in SB. Anyway, even if you do work with all the cheerleaders from westview, i think it was you who said cars>girls, huh? haha come on broski!
