Stolen black 2000 civic si - wood hood/roof
Hello FitFreaks!
My bf's black 2000 Civic Si was stolen last night in front of his house in the Los Angeles area. It has a wood hood and a wood roof, so it's pretty noticeable. It is pretty much stock looking, almost mint condition, and has black Recaros. Front plate is angled downward, and has a Bruce Lee sticker at the top right corner. License place # 4NMV903.
If you see this anywhere, PLEASE CALL THE COPS! Thanks for your help! :]

Thanks for looking out everyone!
Sad thing is, I have a feeling the thief someone realllllyyyyy close to the neighborhood. You can only get so far driving this car without being noticed somewhere, and so far, no one has seen anything.

i know most people wouldnt even look twice at my car but i always check if i'm being followed. I thought i was 1-2 times and i didnt even go in my neighborhood until they are gone. I also turn off my stereo, fog lights, make my car look as basic as possible when i enter my neighborhood to avoid extra attention. it's a bit extreme but u can never be too safe anymore.. I suggest a camera or just peek out the window at night to check it out.
One time my friend was pranking me putting stupid micky D wrappers on it and stuff while i was asleep. I was thinking about spending the night in my car to see who it was but i they stopped before i could. It's REALLY dangerous but if your bf/friends are up to it. Set up a decoy car and either be in the car or nearby in another car. It might sound like a bad idea but it's prolly the only way to catch them

I do the same thing Jason my buddies Mint gs-r got stolen at gunpoint the guys followed hom in a nice vw gold for like 10 miles then pulled in front of him at a stop light 5 guys got out one guy had a gun and they stole his car. ended up being a pellet gun but nobody knew. They eventually got caught cuz like a week later his dad saw someone rolling on the same 5zigen fno1rc's and followed them haha

dude... if someone pulled me at gunpoint and i had enough room around me.. I'd duck down, floor it, and kill the bitsch! oh wait doesnt the fit have an award for like safest pedestrian protection? he'd just roll off my car and dent it... haha oh right i wouldnt do that if it were a cop though
*edit... on second thought... is it worth my life to save my Fit?.... hmmm.... maybe. lol

A cheap warning system if you are within range is to put a baby monitor in your car and keep the monitor beside your bed at night. That is what I would do if I had to park on the street - luckily I have a garage. I hope that you are able to get the car back in good condition. Let us know what happens.

That a PRETTY GOOD idea Cat! :] I'll be sure to dig up the old baby monitors my mom had whenever I need to park outside.
Saturday Night Bump!
