Beautiful, just fucken beautiful!!!!!

After extensions e after extensions I finally went to court today for the ticket I tried to fight for speeding and modified exhaust. I was going 55mph in a 45mph street and my exhaust was a Tanabe Medallion Touring which isn't even loud. The fine? $410

I can give a fuck about the fine, I'm pissed about the point I will get and the fact that the judge said guilty strickly on the pigs word. Fuck the police. Half my friends are police so fuck them too.

Funny stuff. You almost sound as if you were surprised by being stopped for breaking the law. It might be appropriate to say - duhhhhhh !!

He's telling the truth though, if you break the law you shouldn't be surprised if one day you get caught. You can't really blame anyone else for a ticket. Unless there's someone who looks exactly like you who steals your car and commits crimes in it.

That f--kin sucks, $410?. I haven't gotten pulled over for years now, but knock on wood.

I thought Tanabe makes bolt on replacement exhaust system (not modified exhaust). My knowledge modifying would be cutting, welding or altering. But replacing a muffler with a muffler that is not loud. Sounded like the cop wanted to make some $.

^ bolt on or not it's not the factory exhaust so it's modified.
The law pertaining to that is pretty open. I bet the cop didn't even use a sound meter to see if he was over the 93db limit.

Most probably wouldn't but the speeding is what earned the point. A moving violation is something avoidable.

Cops don't care about the 95DB or under law. I've been pulled over so many times just for driving a modified Honda. They said that "Any modifications" are illegal. I wanted to ask if my Broadway rear view mirror was illegal, but I didn't want to get arrested for giving him attitude.

When I was in Southern California in 67 everyone told me it was a police state, It sounds like it still is...... At least Bush's buddy Kenny Lay and Enron isn't robbing you blind like in the past.... Where ever you are in California, Flush Twice, it's a long way to Sacramento.

maybe they were "hella flush". Isn't it illegal to have tires that stick out of the fenders?

Some states say the 1/3 of the tire can be sticking out pass the body, others may say that it has to be flush or tucked; it just depends on the state law.

While on the subject of tickets for mods, have any of you Cali locals with the HFP axle back been bothered by the cops? I know it is a factory Honda part but it may catch a cop's attention.

no, last night while buying food i took a short cut behind a grocery store to my house, a cop was conveniently stationed there. i was in neutral and had to jump back to 1st in front of him and rev-matched. No response, the HFP is quite quiet so i dont see a need for a cop to bust over it

I'm havinga good day so I will refrain from telling you to STFU. I doubt anyone here never went 10 over. If you have any experience in driving in california, you would know that is modest. Again, despite having police friends I will say..Fuck the police.
