I have a 09 FIT Sport/MT. I will be coming down south from San Francisco next week, doing a weeklong conference meeting at one of the hotels by LAX. I will be free every day after 6:00 pm and would like to check out any local store around the area (30 minutes driving max). Looking for CAI, stabilizer bar, muffler, etc. Try to save money on S/H and able to “see/touch” the items.

Any tips would be good (or which store to avoid). Somehow nothing good up here in the Bay Area.

most of the shops close at 5 or 6... only one i can think of that may be open is autotoyz... formerly autobacs.... but doubt they will have anything in stock for the Fit and theyre over priced, and its farther than 30min.

 

Your best bet might be to contact members on the Socal Classifieds thread, you can see pictures but of course can't touch. Unless you like touching the pictures. :P

But most stores that are not online are usually overpriced :/

 

since ur out in the LA area you could try auto box racing in china town not to sure if they have anything for the 09 tho but doesn't hurt to try and go look.... they do have good prices i got my hids there and gonna get my strut bars there too

 

Is China town safe to go at night? or do I need to pack my 45 with me?

lol have you seen Chinatown at around 6-7pm? they lock up quick and tight! It's like vampires come out there at night or something..

 

I was hoping to check out the store - if not, I can always go for Chinese food...

not much you can do after 6pm. all the china town stores/booths close at 5:30-6:30pm (asian time...haha)

 

lol im there at 10ish on the weekends sometimes to go to grandstar lounge... its pretty safe there... just done go into the allys when theres no one else around... ahah
