Fine matt I finally went to Willow like you told me to!

And yes... it was soo fun!

It's just a re-post from the pictures and vids thread but i thought i'd put it here since it's local. Any feedback is welcome

this was at Streets of Willow in Rosamond, CA.

Brakes were stock and shot and tires were All-Season. But damn was it fun trying to keep it all together

You aren't pimp till you drive at the track with this on your roof...

Finally Jason! I'm proud of you! Overall, good driving.

My only two comments:

1. Your line when taking the blowpass. You're cutting in too early. You should be more to the left before the corner entry and brake in a straight line. Then when you turn in, try to avoid the bump on the inside. Hitting that bump upsets the car and you end up losing traction/time.

2. The bowl. I notice that before going into that corner, you don't downshift to 2nd. You're losing valuable time trying to get throught that corner while being in 3rd. If my calculations are correct, if you downshift to 2nd right before entering the corner, you'll have to upshift to 3rd right after the apex before you start tracking out to the far left. By doing this, you'll carry much more speed going into the chicane.

I did try 2nd a few times that day and it appeared to work very well but I was too lazy. I only did it if a car got close to me. hahaha

Blowpass... where is that?

The blowpass is corner #4. It's a righthand corner. That corner actually has a longer route, but it is usually coned off.

I agree. Go to a real track. SOW, WSIR, Buttonwillow, etc...

i dunno, Adam's was the first thing I ever took my car to and I thought it was a pretty good experience kinda like a stepping ladder to a regular size track. Of course you might outgrow it but try it once if you can and see for yourself. plus it's fun just watching people push their cars there too
