Fit @ local track event, pics and one vid!

this was at Streets of Willow in Rosamond, CA.

Brakes were stock and shot and tires were All-Season. But damn was it fun trying to keep it all together Any feedback is welcome!

You aren't pimp till you drive at the track with this on your roof...

cool. did u have any instruction while there? I highly encourage that next time as I seen in the video a little advice on lines from an instructor could have helped you shave some time and yield higher entering/exiting speeds.

the instructor led us on parade laps with the "general line"

But I have bad memory and forget what he did, I get lazy and miss the points. I forget how to take it the right way. Wish someone could have helped me more that day

I c. Yea next time try to see if you can get a instructor to ride with you, or see if you can ride with one... It really helps and you will see all the spots you can make up time. Glad to see you out on the track now instead of the street.. and the track is more fun

haha well I can't do it too often, feel bad for the fit forcing it to work so hard. lol does the supercharger hold up fine during hard driving? I mean is it a lot of stress on the engine and stuff?

I see a lot of points where an instructor can help you. Some (oh kay, a lot) of the things you need to do on a track to be fast are something you'd never do on the street, so you just don't have any experience doing it.

You had a decent line for the most part, and you could have made up a lot of time by modifying your shifting a bit. If you had dropped down a gear at the right time, you wouldn't have bogged out in the corners as much, and you'd be able to increase exit speed.

I wish I would have known about this going on... I'm even in LA right now.

yeah I could definite use 2nd alot more but many instructors at my last event said not to worry too much about it, so I only went all out if a car was coming up on me. Plus I only had 3 hours of sleep and a 100mile drive there so I was tired, even shifting felt like alot of work! haha next time i'll come with SLEEP and more desire to get better!

The supercharger is just fine. KW makes sure these can hold up to track use.

they ran out of transponders it was empty because they split it into differnt classes and I was in the beginning group since it was my first time running with Speed Ventures. Maybe they spaced us out alot. Otherwise it was pretty crowded!
