Awesome to see this thread. I've got a Trek 1500 and a 2010 Fit Sport MT, and I'm pretty sure they're pals.

Do you folks just toss the bikes in the hatch, or do you have racks set up?

I really like the Orange, actually. If anything, I'd say your bike has too much "Cannondale." It's on the downtube four times?

i can fit my bike in my EF without removing the front tire, lol. i want a roof rack but it's out of my budget right now unless i happen to come across a craigslist 5-finger special

now that summer is over, bikes on craigslist are super cheap. i can buy a new ss for the price of the wheelset i wanted to get... hmm

siiiiiiiiiiiick bike oOopinkmanoOo!
i have the same seating position as you do and i always get hated on for it. pedaling in that position puts less stress on my craptastic knees and its comfortable for me. i can probably go 20-30 miles before any back fatigue.

damn, mike. at that pace you'll need new tires before i do. glad to see you're enjoying your investment, too many bikes are bought because of hipster-hype then stored in the dark corner of the garage... so sad.

i saw your post on bikeforums.net in the ss/fg picture thread

we're trying to get a ride organized from malibu down to santa monica, stop by mitsuwa for a quick bite to eat, then back to malibu: 44.2 miles round trip mV(^.^)Vm

only problem i have is that i don't think my walmart ss will make it that far and back without something breaking lol
