All we can do is set one up fairly centralized and hope people are willing to drive a little to participate.

I'd set it up but I'm already setting up a meet for my s2ki brethren.
BTW guys, you guys can organize meets yourselves. The moderators don't have to do it for you. So if you guys come up with a plan go ahead and set it up.

Why not Glendora area?
Theres a decent sized park in Glendora.....pretty central since you got IE to the east, LA to the west and OC to the south.....nice meeting point if you ask me.
BBQ with a list of for sure people with main foods (Hot Dogs, Burgers, Chicken) they got grills if memory serves me right. then everyone can bring at least a 12 pack of drinks, chips, and what not.
if enough people show football shouldnt be a problem also there shoudl be plenty of car talk goign around to keep entertained. and if anyones up for it the local mountains offer a GREAT view and cruise when the foods gone.
a nice early sunday BBQ around 11am and cruise at around 6 or so....right before sun down is awesome and we can go from azusa to Upland/Baldy which is a good 45-hour cruise without stops but i know a great stopping point which will hold plety cars.
this is just a suggestion even thoguh it sounds fairly planned out
