Check the info. I updated and I will continue to update. Not a potluck anymore. Not enough people signed up. The meet will still go on, but just different plan.

 

It will be held on June 29th still.

 

Y'all can cruise with the cars and coffee guys from irvine to the hre event. Alot of high end cars and lots of people attend this event.

 

Let me know where we would all be meeting up! I'm currently located in the Costa Mesa area.

 

another reason this is not doing so well? You MUST be a member of SOCAL FITTED? This is already a Fit based community, why branch off and try and create something out of something? You're presenting too many stipulations for something that is supposed to be fun for Fit enthusiasts. The work has been done, just go with it.

IE, I had a wrench meet at my last house in Elsinore, no stipulations other than if you're hungry, bring food. if you're thirsty, bring drink. I had 18 fits at my house all wrenching on something. It was a complete success. No nonsense makes the best fun.

 

Sorry. I post the same information here so people without facebook can also see it. I have had bad experience with people screwing up and crashing the meets, which is why I privatize the event.

 

people on the fit forums are chill dont worry. every fit meet posted here that i've been to have been plenty of fun and just laidback. I even held 2 for fun. only time you get people crashing is if you be posting on honda tech.

 

EVERY fit meet I have held or been to was no hassle. Hell, we drive 90hp beasts...how wound up can we be lol

 

@konespeed haha I hate honda tech. But I have been setting the meets recently.
You should come out. I'm going to have it at the diamond jamboree. Near mission viejo. lol

@gimme haha yeah I haven't had any hassle for any meets I've hosted, but just don't like publicizing these things on FB because it can get shared and seen by so many people who might think it's cool to come and try to race or something. Bad experiences and just trying to look out for everybody. You should come if you are free that day

Sweet!! Finally on a date I'm actually not scheduled to work! I'm there, will meet for the 626 caravan. ......maybe I'll bring the S2K if the Fit doesn't have the springs put in yet.

Hey since this is on a Saturday, and already in Irvine, it'd be awesome to hit up Cars and Coffee first! It's an awesome, eclectic mix of exotics, muscle cars, street rods, imports, etc. right off of the 5 fwy and Alton (7905 Gateway Blvd, Irvine, CA 92618). Park in the structure next to the Taco Bell building. It starts up early (Pre 6am) but I will be there around 7:30. Then we can caravan to the main location. Maybe we could all hit K1 after/during the meet, since it is 2 minutes away...
