Paypal for reservations? Wow... Sounds serious LOL

At least the park in OC that Peter's meets used to use just had the entry fee... We also just signed up on the list with what food we would personally bring Then the meet organizer amended as needed...

Either way, I currently have that weekend open on my calendar, and depending on the final details of location and cost should be able to attend.

bad idea on charging people for a BBQ meet, jmho. Make it a pot-luck and they will obviously have to pay to get in the location...so that rests on them. Unless of course you're willing to create a spread sheet and receipts proving every penny taken in was used solely for this meet. Just trying to help out.

... I'm a board member for the local chapter of an international car club and the son of the treasurer... Unless we go that far, lets stick to the tried and true KISS method

Pot Luck works for food, and although I am excited about a new potential location, if this one REQUIRES a reservation... might not be ideal.

I heard there are grills there, but if not and if it ends up being a potluck, I have a midsize charcoal weber grill I can bring if necessary.
Not implying that I can cook, haha. Just bringing extra grill if needed.

Are if it ends up being a potluck or not, Im wondering if we gonna bring our own food or go buy food together or is it already included or what.

So when Peter hosted meets and I helped promote

Everyone would sign up and bring food/snacks/drinks/papergoods then we would all just share when they got there. EXAMPLE: if there are 40 people going you don't need to bring 40 hotdogs maybe 2 packs of 10, someone brings burgers, etc not everyone will eat everything.
