Hello,

I am a producer/DP wanting to film a spec commercial for the Honda FIT.

The commercial will not be aired on TV, but will be used as a portfolio piece for myself and a director.

We are looking for honda FIT owners who would like to help us out by letting us film your car over two nights in downtown Toronto. (January 2007)

Concept in a nutshell:
driving the FIT is so fun, the two girls spend most of their evening crusing listening a club track, instead of actually going to the club on time....

Details:
We will have a professional crew rig the car with 4 digital SLR cameras and an HD camera (for interior shots). The main concept centres around collecting timelapse footage with the digital SLR cameras as 2 girls drive the car drives a predetermined route on the downtown section of the gardiner expressway and the York/Bay/Yonge Tunnels. Ending the commercial, the car is parked near the docks with a city view, as the two girls exit the car and walk towards camera.

What you get:
final copy of the commercial
footage of your car

but... we are currently looking to find an owner who will let us film their car in Toronto...

Since you'll be filming a commercial... you'd want a car with no mod, right?

 

DAMN!! I'd TOTALLY do it if it was in Vancouver bc!!

 

mod might be ok, even for the concept, but it might effect the car mounts (especially the front)...
