I saw a VBP Fit (sport) with tinted windows and window visors on Merivale Rd today at about 11:30am!!! It was right where Merivale splits into Merivale and Clyde is that anyone here?

 

Hey all you Fit owners, man I thought I was alone as well! I was on the Quebec Honda Fit forum and I don`t like it cause they make fun of people that modify their Fits (not the place for me). I live in Gatineau and been dieing to find people from the Ottawa-Gatineau region. My name is Karen and i own a Red 2007 Honda Fit, LX, Standard and love it

I have done some modifications to it:

1. Sport muffler
2. Tinted windows and rain guards
3. Reactive air filter (Red)
4. Black spoiler
5. Fog lights
6. Red dash kit
7. S2000 shiftknob
8. 14" Primax rims

Soon to come ..... black strips running from the hood of the car all the way to the trunk.

We should organize a meet sometime soon what do you guys think I am with the Ottawa Honda Club and they are very nice, we are all getting togther this Friday on Merival in the Tim Horons parking lot at 9:30 pm. They told me that they would like to see more fit`s in their club.

Hey guys its been sometime since I posted in here and reading up on the updated posts in this thread. Rushlow that was me u saw back in April on Merivale and Clyde since I live in that area and I'm the only one around with tints and visors. Did it look like the car in the pics I posted back on the first page?

But I'm sad to say that I traded in my VBP for a Blue Genesis 2.0GT Coupe last Friday. I'm not gonna lie but I'm gonna miss the amount of cargo room I got with the Fit but the Genesis is just too badass for me to pass up. But i'll still be on here and see what u Ottawa Fit guys are still up too.

those are sweet cars though! congrats!

 

If u guys ever get together with ur Fits, I'll be there but with the new car because I still loved my Fit and wont forget about it. Best handling car I ever driven IMO, especially when I lowered it.

If anyone is interested....We are meeting at Orange Julep in Montréal at 8 PM on Friday 26th June. That should give me enought time to finish work and drive down to Montréal from Gatineau. After the meet we can go out of a drink or what ever our hearts desire.

I live in the Gatineau area, but I'm always in Ottawa cause I'm from there.

I haven't been on this site it' been about a year. I went to a few meets last summer, but with the Ottawa Honda Club. It would be cool to organise something with just fits!

I have a 2007 LX with cruise control manual shift. Great car Replaced a civic with this.
I got mine oil sprayed when I bought it ( new) and will spray it every two years. ( I had a CRV with no visible rust after 13 years spraying every two years). Its well worth the money Rust check is good.

 

Any wand washes in the west end? I don't feel like paying $7-$10 per wash during the winter, and I'm not sure I trust the big carwashes to not scratch my paint job.

I can seem to find cheap, coin-operated washes though.

 

yes ottawa people on this forum! I drive a crystal black pearl sport with decals on my rear window and tinted. Maybe do a monthly meet up at M&M?
