I live in the Ottawa area, and I have been seeing tons of Fits around.. Just wondering if there are any clubs or meets for Fit Owners in the Ottawa area.

Holy, I am depressed.. Is there NO ONE from Ottawa on this site?? There is a really nice Fit on Craig Henry Dr. off of Greenbank..It is a Sport in Orange. Super nice car..

Sadly, I don't check the Canadian forums often. I suspect most of the people I see behind the wheels of Fits bought it because it was a nice, economical car, not because they are excited over it like we are.

I myself wouldn't mind some sort of meet, but I've just got a basic LX trim... no mods, nothing, and I'm not exactly a car enthusiast so I've not been keeping her clean.

 

I am right there with you man. I have a LX aswell, no mods or anything.. I am a student, so i dont have the money to mod, I want to get alloy's and tint as soon as possibe, but that might not be for a year or so lol.

I'm from Hull, just across the river! No mods yet, they're coming next summer! When ill need to get my brakes replaced, ill get the Hawk HP+...and much more coming! I'll be slow on upgrades thought cuz I have the same issue...poor student

What model of Fit did you get? the Base, LX or Sport? And what colour is it?

 

Grey LX, MT, cruise control with a slammed front bumper . Some truck lost a board and it went right on my bumper...couldnt do nothingbut watch the damage

Anyway, ill work on a new bumper next summer cough cough body kit?

 

Did u get the trucks plate #? That could be an insurence issue.

 

I wish i could, but there was too many trucks in front of me to find who it was...and I dont think ull stop on the 40 highway in montreal to get the board as evidence. But I still take the exit right after to check if I had any leaks but it looks like its only the bumper...but I have to check if the supports are damaged too!

Ah, I see. I was going to ask whether you lived on the Quebec side since you didn't have a front license plate.

I also suppose there's no point asking you where in Ottawa you got your windows tinted

Hey I was wondering what any of you are doing for rust prevention.
I was thinking of coating my wheel wells with some rubber spray stuff...
Another member did this ( https://www.fitfreak.net/forums/fit-...t=rubber+spray ) it looks good.

I've also heard of getting the underneath of the car sprayed with some anti rust product (Krown).
Has anyone had this done?

 

I'm from Ottawa as well. Been on these forums on and off but came across this.

I have a 2007 Blue Sport thats lowered with some mods to the motor and overall apperance to the car. (lights, tint, etc...)

Nice car! looks good. I don't think I've seen u driving around at all... I only see stock fits.

 

I'm around all over the place but since its winter I only go out if I have too but when summer rolls around I'm out all the time. I'm mostly around Marivale Rd area and the main streets around there.

Just look for the yellow fog lights at night. Thats when everyone knows its me driving around
