Called my dealer today (the honda dealer that is) he says my fit is due to land on the coast on the 16th and will be in Medicine Hat on the 20th . lucky for me I will be in Ontario for the last 2 weeks in june, and wont be able to pick it up till July.

 

I just got the same news from Richmond Honda some time in June, I hoping for the 16th. The FIT must be close to sold out in canada for the 2006/2007 run The dealer didn't even have a FIT in the show room. With the small first run of the FIT and with the style changing for 2008/2009 we could have a collector

 

It now looks like I will not get the car until June 24th

As long as I assume it's arriving sometime around the end of eternity, anything earlier will be an improvement. BTW, Honda Canada is having the 1% early GST cut too, so make sure you get it. Ads all over the Province

 

my saleass told me mine should be here on the 27th, there is a orange sport and a blue sport at Markham honda sitting outside on the grass, I went to look at the orange sport last week and there is a big stone chip on the lip of the hood, hope noone here is getting that one

 

My salesman got canned ... Honda better honour the trade in he offered me 3 freaking months ago... Did any of you get called by Honda Canada yet?

 

the funny thing is that salesman just came over from Toyota, he keep asking me do you want to test drive the corolla (civic) or the Fit first, lol

 

My dealer told me today that they haven't even had the allocations yet for June, let alone July. Does that make sense? How can they not know what they're getting in June? I'm confused...how the heck does this car business work???

I only ordered it a little over a week ago so I know that mine will be a looooong time still; I just don't understand how they don't know whats coming to their dealership for June. Is that normal to not know until the last minute?

Something doesn't add up.

 

my friend, you are very fortunate you had a very honest sales manager.
the guys I dealt with weren't that forthcoming with information and thought that the best customer service was to tell lies, half-truths, and overpromising..

I'm glad I got my Fit tho.. hehehe took too long imho.

 

It's unfortunate some try to act dumb. Maybe they will know the May shipment in July... Right.

Got a call from my salesman today and was told that only 2 Sport Manual transmission was allocated to Alberta in the upcoming shippment. If I want to wait, the next allotment will be on Sept . It'll be a long wait ....
