when i first got my fit i wanted to kno waht i could run on the track...

instead of going on the track i went on Gran Turismo 4 got a stock fit and ran it...it ran roughly around the same time...then i turbo-d it and i was running high 13s hahaha

i kno its just a game, but it gave me a rough idea of what it can do, GT4 is one of the most accurate driving simulation game

i launch it around 3500 or 4000 rpm because the tire pressure is in 20 psi and the tires got great grip when they are hot, (factory tires)

Lets clear this up for everyone. You are running an AEM cold air intake/DC header/dynomax muffler with custom made cat back piping (exhaust
) and you've run a best time of 16.20@83mph.

Assuming the Fit weighs 2471 pounds + 160 pounds for driver + another 50 for gas, fluids, etc = 2680 lbs.

inputting the weight and trap speed or ET here:

Horsepower Calculator

you get over 140hp at the crank, which means the 3 mods gave you over 30hp (assuming over 18% driveline loss).

There are of course other factors like weather, wind that can affect ET.

But to be optimistic, Honda underrated the HP value of the L15.

I am by no means a professional driver and I do give him props for hitting the low ET for such basic mods. My point is that either there is more to it (ie., weight reduction or under-rated HP figures by Honda, I am hoping for the latter).

I would love to run 16.2 in a fit lol. Props to you! I'll be getting an axle back soon and maybe a CAI and we'll see how things go from there =)

Its all the first 60 feet of the track. And make sure you dont miss any gears after that.
My Fit ran a 16.7@81mph (I think 81?) with my Aspec CAI and a muffler. I havent ran it recently, I should. A LOT more peppy!!

Nice times redfit_pr. When I run mine Im going to pull the rear seats.
Nice vid too. Stop pickin on GA16 Sentras man!!! Or at least thats what it looked like.

805FitSport ran a 15.7@85mph with an intake, cat-delete, and a pulley I believe. Thats sick! I wish he ran that car with the 100shot down the track!

damn thats a really low launch! awesome times tho
That seems like a decent rpm launch. Keeping in mind that at 1000-1500rpms more the Fits HP and TQ curves meet. Just dont dump the clutch.
