What modz due you currently have? At least from my own experience with my current mods....I beat a Suzuki Forenza which is rated @
SUZUKI FORENZA
*2.0-liter, 16-valve DOHC 4-cylinder engine, 127 horsepower @ 5,600 rpm, 131 lb.-ft. of torque @ 4,200 rpm

As far as the Toyota Matrix....depends on which model;
REGULAR MODEL*1.8-liter DOHC 16-valve Dual VVT-i 4-cylinder; 132 hp @ 6000 rpm; 128 lb.-ft. @ 4200 rpm

S MODEL*2.4-liter DOHC 16-valve VVT-i 4-cylinder; 158 hp @ 6000 rpm; 162 lb.-ft. @ 4000 rpm

I could see the 1.8L engine being competitive with my FIT but the 2.4L
(GOOD LUCK)..LOL

If it has an S on the back....DON'T TRY TILL U SC/TC.

don't worry man, i was on the highway and some dude in a mazda 3 drove up to the side of me and wanted to race but i know i would lose so i just slowed down a little and he took off...then i remembered there was a pretty wicked turn up ahead so i took the corner at about 65 with no problem and dusted his ass

lol i remember the look on his face when i passed him midway through the corner

hey its just like a dodge srt-4...it'll smoke alot of cars in a straight line but through corners its garbage and if one tries to race you, just roll down your rear windows cus srt-4 have manual windows in the back

Just to remind everyone, the "Fit Racing" section is for Legal racing only.
Talk of of illegal racing is not permited.

Thanks

Try to find an autocross event in your area.
Sports car club of America sponsers then all across the country and the Fit would do well in Stock class or Street Touring class if you've done some modding already.

No speed limit just drive as fast as possible without hitting any orange cones and stay on the course. Usually about 4 runs for the lowest possible clean time. You can beat whatever cars you can mostly based on driving skill.

H-stock class cars to beat!

Toyota Corolla MT with 205/55-16 Bridgestone Potenza RE-01R tires

Mazda 3 hatchback

Fit Sport AT with 15x6 Sport Edition D4 and Kumho V710 205/50-15 tires
