central florida meet?
Sevenaprils - you sound like you know the area pretty well. I'm over in Orlando, so I'm just making this up based on google maps and the loop itself. If you have better info, please let me know.
And any fits are welcome, stock fits right off the truck to those in the $20k mod club.
As far as start time goes... Say around 1 for lunch and the loop to follow? Anyone have any objections?

Sounds good to me....
So, I completely spaced out on my schedule - I have national board exams that Friday thru Sunday. So, I won't be making it out - I'll be couped up in a room filling in lots of bubbles with a #2 pencil all weekend.
But, if you guys need some recommendations, I'll try and put together a good start and end for the loop and a couple good spots along the way worth snapping some photos.
I'll have to get on the train for the next meet...

@fit mike- that's awesome! Know any other jax fits? I think decal dude might even be close to that.
@sevenaprils- make sure you get that studying done! I'm sure I'll be itching for another meet after this one. I'll pm you in the next day or so for some help with this one.

Here's the official chamber of commerce map for the loop
Ride the Loop
I've modified it a couple times - I've taken both A1A south along with another backroad/inland road that runs parallel to it but the name escapes me at the moment. I'd say do A1A for the first time around - there's some good parts to start and snap some photos with the ocean as the background.
Also, be sure to stop at the Fairchild Oak, the oldest tree in Florida I believe. It's enormous. Over 800 years old I believe. It's in Bulow Creek State Park - the maps has a blue circle with the best direction to take the loop, so based on the that the entrance to the Fairchild Oak is on the Right, it'll be shortly after you've driven through Tomoka Basin and entered the park. I can't find a good description/direction online, and I just know it when I see it...
Lulu's Oceanside Bar & Grille - if you guys are interested in trying that for lunch - is going to be at the "End" of the Loop. It's on the southwest corner of the intersection of A1A and Granada/40, behind CVS. It's kind of tucked away but once you get behind CVS you can't miss it. You can always backtrack over the Causeway back to the start of the Loop after lunch.
Have fun everyone!

thanks! i'll update the original post. everyone keep adding to let me know how many are gonna show up, when it gets a lot closer, i'll call and let them know we're coming. here's the plan though.
lulu's oceanside @1pm, after lunch we'll head out going east on 40, then head north on beach and continue around the loop. we'll make a couple stops here and there for some pics. just as a1a pulls away from the ocean, there's a parking lot on the beach, that'll be a pretty good place for pics of the fits by the sand (as long as our cars won't get stuck, i know some of us are pretty low). we'll all stop one last time back near lulu's to say our farewells and head home.
I may end up at new smyrna if the surf is good if anyone wants to join. i have to decide if i want the rack on for the pics.

For anyone in the Orlando area that wants to head over together, we can meet at Seminole Towne center at 11:30.
if anyone meets up with you, and you guys take 95 i will try and meet up.
i may be interested in meeting. seeing as the drive is always more fun with another and ive never been there before either
you should def come. you have plenty of time to request off
hmmm...i hear the 24-hour flu is going around? see what you can do, but i know how it is with crazy schedules, that why i had to plan this so far in advance!
