So my bro(TSX 6 speed) and I(FIT 5 speed) did some 2nd gear pulls just a little while ago and I gotta say. The Fit is pretty quick to some extent. We both were on 2nd gear going 20 - 25 mph and just gunned on the throttle and took off. I was pulling about a little more than half a car in 2nd until hitting the rev limiter, shifted into 3rd and he was gone. I don't know what happened but... this little Fit is pretty quick!! Both are stock too.

I was just thinking that maybe since the Fit is lighter at around 2,300 it will pull a little quicker than a 3,300 pound Tsx. Tsx has top end but the Fit has a better gain on torque in the beginning. So thats pretty much it. Just wanted to share a story with you all. It's nothing amazing but I just didn't think this L15a engine would do okay against a 2.4 liter K24a2 engine.

 

I've done the same thing with my GE. I 'raced' a SI coupe and I kind of hung there. Probably would've done better if I had a stick lol
