Super Taikyu series here in Japan has also just started up a new category as well for the Fit and cars in its class. I know J's is putting a car in. Actually just looked at the Super Taikyu page and there are only 2 entrants for the ST-5 class. Hopefully it will pick up steam and more will get involved.
J's project or collaboration is called BirthRacingProject and the page is BRP

Man I am sooooo jealous. So what were the results? I'm especially curious how it did in the enduro.
Ok, seriously, you need to either black-out or white-out those wheels, and paint the brake calipers red. And tint the tail and headlights. Then you will be one meeeeeeeaaaaan looking Fit!

Here is a little bit of footage from a practice session in Sebring. Might be best to jump to about 2 minutes into the video. FIrst minute or so, was driving really slow

Car is on Falken Azenis unfortunately, so you will see that the tires dot help to much on allowing me to run any decent lap times. Car ran a 2:55.010

The car does not have any suspension in that video. Just stock shocks with Progress Springs. Not good for racing, but that is why we were running the Falken Azenis as well. Should have the Honda Suspension in about 3 months.
Finally got some good tires for the car (Thanks to BFGoodrich & Honda Racing) and going to be racing it on August 20, 2011 in Homestead Miami Speedway with FARA.
