2011 HondaStyle Fun&Run Honjou Circuit

Did my first 15min lapping session. Uggghhhhh I need some real sussy. Best lap was a 52.95. I thought I could do around 51 flat...NO GO!!! Took some in-car vid that I'll mess with when I get home.

Here is the course layout...

This coming Sunday (22nd) I have an event at Mihama Circuit, it is just for Fits and CR-Z'. Layout for this circuit.

That lap in the first session was the fastest of the day for me. Everything else was 53.0~53.4, well a couple a little slower when I moved over to let a FD2R by and when held up slightly by a CR-Z into a hairpin. A sussy and diff would be of real value for the Fit and not forgetting to turn off the damn traction control.

Can't wait to see the video! (that reminds me, I need to get all my video posted)

You're right, the Fit needs a better front suspension. No matter what, the front end digs in a little too deep. And with a stock 1.5L, "slow in fast out" is more like "slow in a little faster out" hahaha.

I kinda like the feel of the rear, though. When I'm in the zone I can really toss the back end around nice and it holds firm once the front starts pulling.

Still need to mess with the video, I got sunburnt out there and when I got home I passed out and yesterday I slept most of the day and just didn't feel like dealing with it.

I would also like to swap my final drive to the USDM 4.62 from the JDM 4.294 which would help the acceleration and just lower the top speed some, which I don't really care about. As well as swapping to either the USDM 1st (3.308)or CR-Z 1st (3.142) which currently is a 3.461.
