I'm fairly sure my car could make it to Houston with out spilling its guts but no clue if I can get the day off or have the money to go by then.

Good point but when you have a $463.63 car payment plus $150 Insurance plus $98 Phone Bill and your an E-2. Im only bringing home like maybe $200 play money but that goes out in a snap cause I need gas. :/ But no even people in the military don't get paid a lot. Buuuuuuut yea now I have a burnt out HID bulb, my car is just giving me hell. Now I got a ticket plus replacement bulbs to get. Gosh! Yea im not gonna be able to make this one guys. Maybe some other time. Its just not my month I guess. :/

I was making about $130 a month as a Marine E2 in 1968 and that was with combat pay.. There was no place to spend money out in the jungle so I did alright until I went on R&R in Sydney.

Yea if I deployed then I would be making money cause I would force myself to save it all and only pay for my loans and my car. But other than that after I would get back I would pay my car off and get a motorcycle. BUT I am keeping the FIT cause I am settling down and my girl has a little girl so I can't customize my car anymore. :/ oh well I had fun with it while I could.

If you are deployed I hope it isn't to a shit hole.... Dodging bullets is fun when they don't hit you but then you spend the rest of your life remembering the guys on both sides that did get hit and trying to make sense of why it happened to them and not you.... Do you have a Pay Pal account?

I might drive my wifes fit to the race but I'll be on track flagging so I guess that doesnt count...I'll keep and eye out for a bunch of fits though.

I'm supposed to be on the list to be there also... I would like to hook up with and follow whoever is going from Dallas on I45 near Huntsville so I can follow them to the place.. I still have a bit of work that needs to be done before I can go but I won't be able to do all I'd like to.. It will be running but isn't going to be cleaned up and detailed all that much if at all. Guys going there from Tyler that want to take the scenic drive can take 155 down here and catch 19 south to 190 and I45 at Huntsville... I need to follow some one because I can't handle being lost down there again.

With less than a week away, we're coming down to the wire. I'll keep a close eye on the weather, as that will effect the route we take down to the coast. And for the record we will not be driving onto the sand, but the park is right near the water. Should make for some really good group shots. If for any reason you are running late and miss the 3:00 window to head out for the cruise, you can just meet us on the beach at the following address: Quintana Beach County Park 330 5th Street Freeport, TX 77541. We should be there no later than 4:00 and may stay until we can't stand the heat any longer

Non-Fit Freak member attendees will be:
1. Michael (ITR)
2. TITO (ITR)
3. Dustin (CRX)
4. Jeff (S2000) <---- Works at MSR so he may not be able to cruise out.
5. Devin (S2000)
6. Chris (GSR Wagon)

Don't forget, if you want to run a kart session it's just over $26 after tax. So bring some money if you plan to run, and eat out afterwards. For those of you who don't already have my number, please PM with a request no later than Thursday afternoon.

I was just thinking about the heat... It's not even noon and the temperature here right now is 103 degrees.... Bring lots of water people or you might die... The heat and humidity in Houston can be compared to that of the air strip in DaNang...
