Lol just have really cool thoughts of everyone driving out to one event and being THE LARGEST group of cars there. Yea major Fit traffic but you guys know it would be fun, crazy, and something amazing to see people from all over North American come together and ride. That's just a dream to me guys, hit this thread up and say what you think about it.

P.S. Yes I'm in the army and am stationed at Ft. Hood. I get that question a lot.

sorry nevermind i gonna be in the gumball 3000 next year, new york to L.A i been signing up to be in it for 5 years and i finally got accepted.

 

what car are you driving for the gumball?

 

My GE8 ,i was gonna drive dodge viper, but the founder of gumball wanted my car to be in it if i get my k20 installed , ive already started perparing , got extra 10 gallon tank installed, etc. He said ill have a good chance since its in USA now and i wont have to stop for gas as much as the others.

 

its all about making it to the end, not about who the fastest is, plus being in USA its gonna have so many cops, so im not worried about my car not being the fastest

 

i been signing up with gumball for last 4-5 years, and finanly the guy called me back and i made the 60 car space.

 

I'd be game for an actual Cannon Ball/Bull Run/Gumball style rally!

Or even better, a multi-day Fit meet were each day is a meet in a different location. We just convoy to/from the location, picking up Fits as we go, and on the last day pretty much have a grand finale at an awesome location.

For example... (hypothetical mind you, just giving an idea)

Say a meet starts in Houston, TX at 10 am. We meet there, hang out, hit some roads, eat, and then either depart home/head to a hotel or rally to the next location like say New Orleans, LA.

Once in New Orleans start the meet at 10 am, do some activities, and head either home or the next location. In this example, Atlanta, GA; doing the planned activities and head out to the final location.

For a final location, I would try to think of something that people either haven't experienced or something that would be truly memorable. In this case, a trip to Deal's Gap to tame the 318 turns on an 11 mile section of road that is known as the Tail of the Dragon.

That is what I've heard. But there are some guys that just go for broke in those rallies. Not sure if you're type to be "running with the pack" but if you are you might want to invest in a Valentine One radar if you don't have one already.

I'd loved to get my hands on one of those one day.

 

yea i have one, i got extra set of rims and tires, installed a extra 10 gallon tank, spare enigne repair parts, val radar, got k20 engine a week ago sitting in the garage, new trans with trans cooler, new 180 amp alternator, new axles, etc

 

pluss i got my gf a co driver, and my boss from Underground Racing driving his lambo and our crew with truck with spare parts

 

dang that dragon thing is close to where i live , i never knew about it, i thought nothing really happens on east coast besides dub shows, and drag racing ha thats cool

 

If you come to Nola I got a prelude, a 350z, and a Fit that will meet you in lafayette on i10

 

To add on to what Hootie was saying we can get a few different area to meet then meet at one area. I.E. FL,Georgia,alabama as one group. TX, Louisiana and Miss could be a second group and so on and so on.

Meeting at the Dragon would be great, the wife and I was just up there for a meet klassact put together. But if we time it right why not do two big things while in Tennessee like the Dragon and import alliance thats if TN is the final destination. Away if this does really come together I don't care where I go just like the idea of seeing a large group of FIT together would be sick.
