I'll be back home soon from a tour in Iraq, and I was going to start my search for a Honda Fit hopefully by St. Patty's Day. Any suggestions on good dealerships around Fayetteville? By anywhere I mean about as far as Raleigh. I'd do some travelling to find a decent dealership. Haven't had time to use the phones, just a couple email inquiries to Sanford. Any other suggestions?

Let me know when you get back and what your looking for and i will see what i can find for you. I have alot of connections at my local dealer and maybe i can get them to work you a better deal seeing your somewhat far away or else get info on where the car your looking for is sitting.

 

I would not recommend Auto Park Honda of Cary. They did not want to work on price or make anything convenient. Although they did have almost 10 Fit's on the lot when I picked mine up.

 

Thanks Marekv, I'll keep that in mind. So my options right now are GSR's Fit for sale, or else Wilmington. I haven't had much contact with Sanford Honda, as they seem to be uninterested since I'm so far out. Park Honda in Wilmington said hi and asked what I wanted, as did Bryan Honda of Fayetteville. Depending on pricing, I'll consider Park and Bryan, but GSR, I like the way yours is sounding. PM me if you have an asking price.

 

I purchased mine in Wilmington, NC, at Stevenson Honda. We were in and out in 2 hours. Most of that time was waiting to talk to the finance guy...

I had a very bad experience with the Honda dealer in Fayettnam. They had my 97 Accord EX for a service, when I picked it up, it was missing my head unit, speakers, and Nitrous Express bottle.

Also when I tried to buy a 06 Accord V6 EX coupe, they were very rude, unprofessional and belittled my wife. I would stay away from them.

Welcome back! How many tours have you had so far? I have logged 27 months in Iraq: two 6 month tours and a 15 month that just ended in December. Right now I'm getting all pumped up for a year long tour in Afghanistan.

 

Thanks Geoff. I was always wary of any dealership around bragg. Just waiting to hear from GSR about his Fit for sale or from JD about Parker Honda.

and..I've heard bad things about the dealer in fayetteville, too..they gave me a low quote, but the salesman who contacted me was a bit of a dick...so I went local....
